There is 4 “universal ways” to mount your GPS/Smartphone with Techmount:
- Steering Stem Mount (mostly for sport/touring bikes)
* A hole in the steering stem nut is required
- Handlebar Mount
* Handlebar needs to have some place left to install
- Control Perch Mount
* Control Perch needs to have 2 bolts facing toward yourself to be able to install
- Surface Mount
* 4 holes will need to be drilled to install
There is 3 different cases model you can use with these mounts:
- with Water-Resistant Cases
- GPS (inside size: 5.3″ x 3.4″ 1.7″)
- Smartphone (inside size: 4.7″ x 3″ x 1″)
- with 4-hole AMPS Pattern Top Plate that most GPS company brackets are using.
- with Universal Smartphone/GPS Cradle
