Why talking about Microsoft in a motorcycle blog? Read further, it’s actually really cool!!

On February 21^st Microsoft unveiled their new operating system Windows 10 in a press conference and a lot of other features.

But wait! As a motorcycle enthusiast that’s not what my attention was focused on at all.

Microsoft has release a new device named HoloLens. It’s a kind of glasses that represents holograms in front of you and the weirdest thing is that you can interact with them!

I was pretty stoked to see so many motorcycles in the press conference of Microsoft.

 Microsoft involved in the future of motorcycle development?

From what we could understand, the HoloLens will project a hologram of what the designer is doing in front of him like if it was already made and modify things directly on the hologram. It will also be possible to take a real motorcycle without fairings, design a fairing and add it to the motorcycle to see the final result.

Repair or learn how to work on my motorcycle at home with the help of an expert mechanics

As strange as this might be right now, someone will be able to help you repair your motorcycle remotely and even point to you the exact screw to remove when you will be wearing your HoloLens.

 What do you think of those new technologies? Do you think this will revolutionize the way motorcycle design and repair will be in a year, 5 years, 10 years? I personally think this will be within 2 years for designers and in about 5 years for personal use to give people to learn the new possibilities.
